Pineview Apartments (Allegheny Development Corporation)

Finishing out my second year-long lease, and it has been a great experience. I'm a graduate student on a budget and needed something affordable but nice, and these apartments were perfect. My only complaints were occasional noise and smells. Walls are thin and tv's/voices can be heard very clearly from other apartments. In addition, foods with strong smells tend to permeate the whole building (such as middle eastern spices like curry)...not offensive odors, but not pleasant either when you're laying in bed and don't want to smell food. Other than that, I really have nothing negative to say. ***BE AWARE WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS PLACE THOUGH, THAT YOU ARE MOVING RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE ENTRANCE TO MON. GENERAL HOSPITAL. IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER, I WOULD AVOID THE GREY BUILDING ON PINEVIEW DRIVE, AND GO FOR ONE OF THE RED BRICK BUILDINGS IN THE BACK.*** I eventually got used to it, and I was aware before I moved in, but at all hours of the night, you will hear sirens from the ambulances leaving the hospital to answer calls.

Wonderful apartments at a great price. You can't really beat the value of the service and quality of the property for what you pay. The location isn't the best because it's so far away and located on a dangerous hill, but HEY it's Morgantown. The only thing that every broke was a toilet with a faulty chain, and they came to fix it within the day. I looove Pineview.

Great place for the price. I have been renting with them for 2yrs now and it has been a very positive experience.

I enjoyed living in this apartment, except for the fact you could not have pets. The landlord was very helpful, and also would not enter your apartment without contacting your first. They gave ample notices about upcoming inspections (which were done to replace filters or check smoke detectors). I would live there again, except I just purcahsed a house. In any event, they will work with you if issues arise. I have rented from three other landlords in Morgantown, and this was by far the best landlords I have had. The rent is reasonable and the apartments are well cleaned before move in. Also, the security deposit is not that much (250 dollars for a two bedroom).

You won't find a better apartment for the price. Great, trustworthy staff. My only complaint living here was extremely noisy neighbors, but that's the price you pay for budget housing. I would definitely stay with these people if they allowed pets.

Would suggest this place to anyone. I would rent off these people again but maybe in a different building.

Every little question and problem we have had has been immediately answered. When we go to pay the rent they are always nice and talk to us like we are real people. They definately remember you and sometimes ask follow ups about something they have fixed. I highly recommed them. Very reasonable and the Pineview location is perfect. Would definately live here again.
